Capricorn Investments Holdings Ltd
We hold 8% Preference Shares in Capricorn Investment Holdings Ltd (CIH). CIH was established in 1996 and is a regional financial services group with interests in banking, insurance, asset management, investments and micro finance. The group provides banking and financial services to individuals and businesses in Namibia and Botswana. Their flagship brand is Bank Windhoek Ltd, founded in 1982, and is the only locally owned bank in Namibia
Gondwana Collection Group
We hold 10% Preference Shares in Gondwana. Gondwana Collection is a hub for travel and safaris in Namibia and also offers rental cars and accommodation (hotels, lodges, campsites, self-catering).
Mobile Telecommunications Company (MTC)
We hold 0.57% Shares in MTC. MTC is the first mobile telecommunications company and internet service provider in Namibia. It is the largest mobile carrier in Namibia with over two million active subscribers since 1994 and was the only cellular provider in Namibia at that time of establishment..
Santam Namibia
We hold 12.05% Preference Shares in Santam. Santam Namibia is the country’s leading short-term insurer, commanding a market share of over 30 per cent. Santam Ltd opened its offices in Windhoek in 1956. A subsidiary, Santam Namibia Limited, was established in 1990, to take over all insurance activities in Namibia.
Sanlam Namibia
We hold 16.4% Preference Shares in Sanlam Namibia. Sanlam is the largest insurance company in Africa. Sanlam provides affordable life insurance and financial planning solutions to individuals, families, institutions and communities across Namibia.
